    The family , 2-2-0

    Here are a few pics as promised. will work on getting pics of all the enclosures and setups.

    1 male Redtail Boa
    1 female Brazilian Boa
    1 male Jungle Carpet Python

    first enclosure

    Please keep in mind that this is my first time building one of these. But for a first production i feel it went together pretty well.

    I did not get a pic of each step but im happy to answer any questions.

    used oak ply and actual red oak for the door and trim.

    everything was stained using only water based product. the poly acrylic was water based as well.

    3 coats of stain and 3 of the acrylic.

    all inside edges and corners were caulk and i used aluminum mesh to line the ceiling.

    used all brass barrel locks, hinges and a hasp. everything was hand sanded and each nail was buried, filled in and stained over.

    decor

    used bamboo, reptile bark, fake plants rock bowls and just a plain old rock.

    bamboo is fixed by plastic pipe mounting strap underneath.

    the bamboo was drilled to fit the plants into but the plants are not glued or anything so they can be taken out and cleaned whenever needed.
